Technical Implementation Manager sought to manage the Release of 3 major Web Portal Applications with large end user impact in a Financial Services Organisation.

It is absolutely essential you have first rate customer facing skills, you can think on your feet in difficult situations and have know when to be flexible and when process must be adhered to. Therefore you must be an accomplished communicator and excellent generalist technical skills.

As a Technical Project Manager/Implementation Manager you will be responsible for:

• Plan and synchronise Implementation Management activities in conjunction with the relevant external and internal parties
• Delivery of a comprehensive and practical Implementation Plan, produced through consultation with experts in all necessary delivery fields 
• Co-ordination of all activities needed to produce and formally approve the delivered plan, within agreed time-frames.
• Environment delivery will include the delivery of technically enabled environments, together with the correct deployment of software/configuration releases/patches at defined points in time
• Ensure that the defined release management control procedures and governance are adhere to at all times
• Successful delivery minimising impact on business as usual activities

Your experience:

• Hands-on implementation experience of all or some of the following technology solutions
  • Client Server & Web Applications 
  • SQL Server 2005 
  • WebSphere 
  • Service Oriented Architecture (TIBCO) 
  • Crystal Reports/Business Objects
• Proven Implementation Management experience, with focus on detailed planning/co-ordination/execution across a narrower and discrete scope of delivery.
• Experience of large scale &system replacement& projects, requiring near-seamless business transition. 
• Experience of implementation projects utilising multiple 3rd party suppliers.
• Financial industry experience well regarded.
